13-Year-Old KNUST Student Melchizedek Baafawiise Enjoys Private Jet Experience with Ibrahim Mahama

Ibrahim Mahama, a business mogul, hosts a private jet experience for a 13-year-old KNUST prodigy. A kind invitation from Ibrahim Mahama, a businessman and aviation enthusiast, has allowed 13-year-old Melchizedek Adio Baafawiise, an exceptional undergraduate at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), to take a big step towards his aviation goals.
A lifelong aircraft enthusiast, Melchizedek is currently working towards a Bachelor of Science in Physics. His remarkable academic record—five A1s and three Bs on the WASSCE—attracted Mahama’s attention, and he was given the chance to travel in a private jet.
Melchizedek was given access to the cockpit during the flight, allowing him to observe firsthand the complexities of aircraft functioning. Mahama also discussed the aviation sector and the requirements for becoming a pilot. In addition to the exciting experience, Mahama promised to pay for Melchizedek’s tuition and other academic costs at KNUST, guaranteeing the young scholar the resources he needs to reach his full potential.
Ibrahim Mahama’s generosity and faith in Melchizedek’s future have been greatly appreciated by his parents. Many Ghanaian kids are encouraged to dream big and follow their passions as a result of this support, which brings the young prodigy’s aviation dreams closer to reality.
