Dr. Dorothy Jean Tillman II commenced her academic journey at the College of Lake County at the age of 10, majoring in Psychology.
Subsequently, she obtained her Master of Science from Unity College in 2020 before being accepted into Arizona State University’s Doctor of Behavioral Health Management Program at 15.
In an interview with “Good Morning America,” Tillman emphasized the significance of education, influenced by her family background and personal curiosity. She expressed her lifelong interest in psychology and related fields.
In December 2023, at the age of 17, Tillman earned her doctoral degree in integrated behavioral health from ASU’s College of Health Solutions, becoming the youngest recipient in school history. Dr. Leslie Manson praised Tillman’s growth in professional writing, leadership, and dedication throughout her time at ASU.
Tillman credits her mother as a major motivator and supporter, highlighting her advocacy for education. She founded the Dorothyjeanius STEAM Leadership Institute to promote a balance between arts and STEM education among children, believing that incorporating art enhances learning and opens doors to various opportunities in STEM fields.
