2024 SHS and TVET Placement Results Announced

The Ministry of Education has announced the placement results for the 2024/25 academic year for Senior High Schools (SHS) and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions.

According to the Ministry, of the 563,339 student results submitted by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), 553,155 students were deemed eligible for placement. Out of these, 447,698 candidates, or 80.93%, received automatic placements into one of their preferred institutions.

However, 104,918 qualified students were unable to secure a placement in any of their chosen schools, per the Ministry’s statement. These students are encouraged to use the Self-Placement platform, which allows them to select an available school option.

To check their placement status, students can visit the official CSSPS website at https://www.cssps.gov.gh or https://www.cssps.org. They are required to enter their ten-digit index number followed by their year of completion (e.g., 123456789024 for 2024 graduates), then click “Submit” to view their placement results.

Additionally, for any inquiries or issues, students and parents can access assistance through the National Solution Centre at the GNAT Hall in Adabraka, Accra, or at any of the 16 Regional Solution Centres. The Ministry has also provided a helpline at 0308258001 to address concerns related to the placement process. This support network aims to ensure a smooth admission experience for all students as they transition into SHS and TVET institutions.
