Chris Brown Sues Warner Bros For Sexual Assault Allegations in Documentary
Chris Brown is suing Warner Bros due to allegations of sex assault in documentary.

Chris Brown, claims he is suing a movie studio for a documentary that was released last year and contained sexual assault allegations.
In October, Warner Bros. released Chris Brown: A History of Violence, which contained testimony from an unnamed dancer who said he had sexually assaulted her on a yacht in 2020.
The Forever singer’s attorneys allege in a statement that the movie is “defamatory” and that her allegations were “sensationalized” and “baseless,” accusing Warner Bros. of “recklessly damaging” his reputation.
The lawsuit also names the production firm Ample in addition to Warner Bros. According to BBC, when BBC Newsbeat reached out to both firms for comment, they did not answer.
After submitting the complaint to a Los Angeles court on Tuesday, Chris Brown’s attorneys said he is requesting $500 million (£405 million). According to the statement, Warner Bros. released the documentary “without regard for Mr. Brown, prioritizing profits over journalistic integrity” despite his lawyers telling producers that the accusations, which reportedly included evidence tampering, were “misleading” and “discredited.”
The dancer, who was referred to as Jane Doe in the video and in court, previously accused Chris Brown in 2022 when she filed a lawsuit against him for $20 million (£14.9 million).According to her lawsuit, he assaulted her when she was at a party on a yacht at Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Miami, Florida, home. However, a court apparently dismissed the case. The singer’s past legal issues are well-documented.
