On Friday, December 22, 2023, at the Accra Sports Stadium, legendary Afro-Reggae/Dancehall performer Stonebwoy performed his historic Bhim Nation-5th Dimension event, making history.
The 40,000-seat stadium was packed to bursting with Bhim Nation ardent warriors. There was a palpable excitement in the air, and there was a perceptible energy among the people in the stands.
Then the myth itself came to life. The stadium roared as Stonebwoy, clad in a colourful Bhim Nation costume, strode onto the stage.
The artist was overwhelmed by the loud applause and admiration. The Bhim Nation erupted as the opening rhythms of a well-known song began to play, and his contagious smile reflected the excitement of the assembly.
The Accra Sports Stadium was transformed into a hallowed area for the Bhim Nation for more than ten hours. Performers such as Epixode, Larusso, Ras Kuuku, Kofi Kinaata, and Sefa alternated in energising the audience with their varied skills, each contributing a distinct taste to the musical concoction.
The Jamaican musicians 10TIK and Jahmiel, whose performances on stage provided some fans with unforgettable and uplifting experiences, were also overwhelmingly well-liked by the audience.
However, all paths ended at Stonebwoy. His band’s live performance was incredible. The throng swayed in time to the sounds of the drum and guitar, their bodies trembling with each beat.
The “Bhim Concert-5th Dimension” was more than just a musical performance; it was a celebration of pride and solidarity. For the Bhim Nation, it was an intergenerational and cross-border family get-together.
