Actor Yogot of “Junka Town” Passes Away


Osuman Idrees, better known by his stage name Yogot from the popular Ghanaian comedy series “Junka Town,” has tragically passed away. Reports indicate that the actor died at the Great Faith Clinic in the Efsa Crentsil Building, located in Effiakuma, Takoradi, on the morning of June 10, 2024.

Although the family has yet to release an official statement, the news of his passing has been confirmed by several sources. Takoradi-based radio station Connect FM and musician Nero X, among others, have acknowledged the sad event. Nero X expressed his sorrow on Facebook, writing, “This Life Ankasa Eno Be Fair At All….”

Yogot’s death has sent shockwaves through his fanbase and the entertainment community. Many fans and colleagues have taken to social media to express their grief and pay tribute to the actor.
