Akpeteshie Seller Bites Customer’s Testicle Over Debt!
Akpeteshie Seller Granted Bail After Allegedly Biting Customer’s Testicle Over Debt Dispute

Esi Affumwaa, a 48-year-old farmer and seller from Akpeteshie, was granted bail by the Assin Fosu District Court after he allegedly bit a customer’s testicle after a furious argument over a GH¢2.40 debt. Under the direction of His Worship Abdul Majid Iliasu, the court issued GH¢10,000 bond with two sureties, one of whom had to live inside the court’s boundaries.
The fight happened on Wednesday, February 26, 2024, at approximately 4:30 PM at Assin Wurakese Camp, which is situated in the Assin Fosu Municipality of the Central Region, according to prosecutor inspector Matilda Osaah Buabeng.
The victim, Karim Osman, a 36-year-old farmer, had gone to buy a cigarette at the Affumwaa-run drinking establishment. When the seller requested the GH¢2.40 he owed, the situation rapidly became heated. After a verbal altercation descended into violence, the two engaged in combat.
Affumwaa allegedly attacked Osman by hitting his head with a piece of firewood, according to the prosecution. She allegedly bit his testicle during the battle, resulting in a deep cut and significant bleeding. The culprit was quickly arrested as a result of the injured victim reporting the assault to the police right away.
Affumwaa acknowledged the incident during police questioning, but she justified her actions by claiming they were self-defense. She entered a guilty plea with an explanation in court, claiming that the victim had caused her to fall and that she was compelled to crush his testicle. For additional procedures, the court has postponed the case until March 13, 2024.
