Armed Robbers Attack Forex Bureau in Abeka Lapaz
Forex Bureau Attacked by Armed Robbers in Abeka Lapaz.

On Friday afternoon, armed robbers targeted a Forex Bureau located in Abeka Lapaz, Accra, in a daring daylight attack. Eyewitnesses reported that two suspects entered the bureau near the Las Palmas area and demanded cash.
However, as the robbery unfolded, quick-thinking bystanders locked the robbers and staff inside the building.
When police arrived, they discovered the premises sealed, with both robbers and employees presumed to be inside.
However, in a bizarre turn of events, the suspects had vanished by the time officers forced entry into the building, leaving investigators baffled. The police have since cordoned off the area and increased security around the bureau. A staff member, speaking anonymously, revealed that the bureau plans to issue an official statement providing further details about the incident.
Meanwhile, residents and businesses in the area are on high alert, as this incident adds to growing concerns about safety and crime in Accra.
This attack is part of a rising trend of armed robberies in Ghana. Similar cases have occurred recently, such as a robbery in Adabraka, where gunmen fled with large sums of money. Authorities are urging citizens to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities.
