The Ghana Police Service apprehended two individuals in relation to the death of a United States national at Nyinasen near Cape Coast in the Central Region. The suspects, identified as Wisdom Sete, a Togolese, and Yussif Afrim, were apprehended on Friday, April 19th, 2024, at Assin Prasso for their alleged involvement in the murder of Naomi Jehubiyah.
Based on initial police investigations, Wisdom Sete, purportedly the fiancé of the deceased, allegedly conspired with Yussif Afrim to commit the murder of Naomi Jehubiyah. The body has been transferred to the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital for preservation and autopsy purposes. Additionally, two vehicles belonging to the deceased were recovered from the suspects, who are presently in police custody aiding further investigations.
