Popular Ghanaian TV presenter and broadcaster Berla Mundi has reportedly welcomed her first child. The news began circulating after she shared beautiful new photos on Instagram, showing off a flat tummy and a radiant glow. Fans couldn’t help but admire her look and express how much they missed seeing her on their screens.

On May 8, 2025, Berla posted pictures from a trip abroad. She wore a comfy two-piece outfit—a grey crop top and sweatpants—and looked relaxed and stylish in the images. She also showed off the latest Samsung smartphone, proving she’s still active as a brand ambassador while taking time off for motherhood. The photos were taken at what appeared to be a park or tourist location.

Berla added a special touch to the post by including the uplifting song Counting My Blessings by American artist Seph Schlueter. This subtle hint made many believe that she was celebrating the arrival of her baby. During her pregnancy, Berla continued to glow and inspire. Who is Berla Mundi?
Berlinda Addardey was born in Accra on Friday, April 1, 1988. She is one of Ghana’s most admired media personalities. She is a TV host, voice artist, and strong advocate for women and girls. Her educational background includes studies at St. Theresa’s School, Achimota School, and the University of Ghana, where she studied linguistics and psychology. She also studied French at Alliance Française and later pursued media training at the Ghana Institute of Journalism. Additionally, she holds a certificate from Harvard Business School’s executive education program.

Berla’s media journey began after she placed third in the 2010 Miss Malaika beauty pageant. That opportunity opened doors for her, leading to a career at GHOne TV and later at TV3 Ghana. Over the years, she has hosted popular shows and significant events, such as Miss Malaika, MTN Hitmaker, and the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA). She has co-hosted the VGMA six times!

Berla is also the founder of the Berla Mundi Foundation, established in 2015, and the B.You Project, both aimed at mentoring and empowering young women. She’s known for her efforts to help girls build confidence and pursue their dreams. In January 2024, Berla Mundi married a successful Ghanaian businessman, David Tabi. David works as the operations manager at Barbex Group, a mining, agriculture, and technology company. The couple had a private wedding in Accra and have kept their personal life mostly out of the public eye.
