Beyoncé to Headline NFL Christmas Day Half-Time Show with Special Performance

Beyoncé will take center stage for the NFL’s Christmas Day half-time show, marking her first performance of tracks from her latest album Cowboy Carter. The show will air as the Houston Texans face off against the Baltimore Ravens, with the Kansas City Chiefs playing the Pittsburgh Steelers in another highly anticipated match. Both games will be streamed live on Netflix, further cementing the platform’s sports ambitions.
Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter album, which features collaborations with artists like Miley Cyrus and Post Malone, explores the country genre and follows her 2022 release, Renaissance. The album is already receiving critical acclaim, including a Grammy nomination for Album of the Year at the 2025 ceremony. Fans are eagerly awaiting her performance, which will also include a visual teaser of the singer catching a football while standing on a rose-covered car wearing her iconic cowboy hat.
In addition to her musical talents, Beyoncé is expected to bring along special guest performers featured on her album. The NFL performance will not be her first half-time show appearance, as she headlined the Super Bowl in 2013 and performed alongside Coldplay and Bruno Mars in 2016.
Netflix, which announced a deal to stream NFL games until 2026, continues to expand its live sports offerings. With its growing global reach, Netflix aims to make NFL games and major events like this Christmas Day spectacle accessible to viewers worldwide. NFL executives are hopeful that the partnership with Netflix will broaden the sport’s audience beyond the U.S., especially with the holiday tradition of NFL games.
