Under former head coach Chris Houghton, Ghana faced disappointment at the 2023 AFCON, failing to progress from the group stage without securing a win. However, since Addo’s appointment, the Black Stars have faced Nigeria in a 2-0 loss and Uganda in a 2-2 draw in international friendlies. Despite these results, Addo remains optimistic about the team’s prospects moving forward.
