COVID-19 Continues Unresolved, Asserts GHS
The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has countered assertions that COVID-19 has been officially ended.
They reported 31 new cases last week and emphasized the ongoing necessity for vaccination and utilizing vaccination centers. Dr. Kwame Amponsah-Achiano, the Programmes Manager at the Expanded Programme on Immunization, stressed that while the emergency phase may have shifted, COVID-19 persists and should not be regarded as a thing of the past.
