Davido Marks 32nd Birthday with N300 Million Donation to Orphanages

Nigerian music sensation Davido has announced plans to donate N300 million to orphanages across Nigeria as part of his 32nd birthday celebration on November 21. This generous gesture will also extend support to organizations dedicated to combating drug abuse and addiction among young people.
Davido revealed his plans via his official X (formerly Twitter) account, promising to provide further details about the fund’s allocation in due course. This announcement highlights Davido’s enduring commitment to philanthropy and societal impact. Over the years, the Afrobeats superstar has consistently used his platform to support vulnerable communities.
In 2021, Davido initiated a viral online fundraiser that raised N250 million, which he donated to orphanages. He followed up in July 2023 by distributing N237 million to 424 orphanages nationwide through his David Adeleke Foundation. Earlier this year, the artist contributed an additional N300 million to orphanages, underscoring his dedication to addressing societal challenges like economic hardship.
