Diddy’s Mother Speaks Out: Denies Allegations, Calls Them “Lies”
Latest News on Sean “Diddy” Combs Case :Diddy’s Mother Speaks Out: Denies Allegations, Calls Them “Lies”
Janice Small Combs, the mother of renowned musician Sean “Diddy” Combs, has publicly defended her son amidst serious allegations of sex trafficking and racketeering. Diddy, who rose to fame with hits like I’ll Be Missing You, was arrested last month and is currently being held in a Manhattan detention facility after being denied bail. His mother, in a statement issued through her lawyer Natlie G. Figgers, expressed her heartbreak over the situation, describing the charges as “lies” and insisting that her son is “not the monster they have painted him to be.”
Ms. Small Combs acknowledged that while Diddy, like everyone, has made mistakes in the past, the ongoing narrative is based on falsehoods. She stated, “It is devastating to watch my son judged not for the truth, but for a story constructed out of lies.
” Her statement follows the revelation that more than 100 additional accusers, both men and women, could file lawsuits against Diddy, accusing him of sexual assault, rape, and exploitation. While Diddy’s legal team continues to deny all charges, including past claims by his former partner, Cassie Ventura, Ms. Small Combs pointed out that one past mistake should not condemn him. Cassie had accused Diddy of rape and abuse, a case that was settled out of court within a day.
Following that, a leaked 2016 video surfaced, showing Diddy assaulting Ventura in a hotel room. Ms. Small Combs did not shy away from addressing the incident, admitting that her son was not entirely truthful in his denial but argued that this does not make him guilty of the other serious accusations.
She concluded by expressing disappointment in the public’s swift judgment and suggested that financial motivations may be driving some of the accusers. Diddy’s next court appearance is scheduled for October 9, where his legal team will continue to seek bail, having been previously denied due to concerns about his potential to interfere with the case.
