Ashley Moore, the National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) Greater Accra Regional Chairman, has disclosed that the party intends to use drones to observe this year’s general elections.

This programme is a component of the party’s endeavours to obtain more than two million votes and fortify oversight mechanisms to thwart vote manipulation.

The party hopes to garner more than two million votes in the area because they think it will be important in deciding how the elections turn out.

According to Mr. Moore, preparations are in motion to start teaching people how to use the equipment that will be used.

The Chairman stressed that the essential logistics will be obtained for the elections, but he did not go into greater detail.

The NDC parliamentary group disclosed that they have determined nine constituencies that they will assist the party in capturing.

Sam George, the group’s secretary, reaffirmed their commitment to garnering the greatest number of votes for the NDC in the region ever.
