ECG Announces Scheduled Maintenance: Power Outages Expected in These Areas on March 11-12

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced planned maintenance works set to take place on March 11 and 12, 2025. These essential upgrades aim to improve service delivery, but will result in temporary power outages across various regions in Ghana.

Affected Areas and Outage Schedule

Tuesday, March 11, 2025

Volta Region: Residents of Tsito and surrounding areas should expect power interruptions from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Ashanti Region: Two separate maintenance exercises are scheduled:

Darko, Bebu, Ampabame No.2, Trede, Sabin Akroform, and parts of Pakyi No.2 will experience power cuts between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
Another maintenance phase will affect Atwima Agogo, Abuakwa, Mankranso, Kunsu, Sepaase, Nkawie, Afari, Abakomade, Kasapreko, Nerebehi, parts of Tanoso, Pokukrom, Seidi, Hiaw Besease, Atwima Koforidua, Ntensere, Tabre, Mpasaetia, Asempanaye, and neighboring areas from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Wednesday, March 12, 2025

Greater Accra Region: Areas including Pokuase Pharmacy, Ayawaso, Nii Ayi, Odumase, Amanfrom, Nsakina, Agbogba, and Pantang Royal will experience power outages from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Tema Region: Power supply will be interrupted between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM in High Tension, Golf City, Community 17, Fafali, Cambodia, HFC Estates, and surrounding areas.
