Foreign Affairs Minister Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey encouraged Kenyan entrepreneurs to explore the Ghanaian market and collaborate with local businesses to leverage mutual advantages.

Speaking at the Second Session of the Ghana-Kenya Permanent Joint Commission for Cooperation in Accra on April 2, she emphasized the enduring friendship between the two nations and the importance of high-level visits in enhancing bilateral ties and economic growth. H.E. Dr. Musalia Mudavadi, Kenya’s Prime Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, echoed this commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation across various sectors.

The session also highlighted the significance of recent high-level visits and increased commercial exchanges, including initiatives like Kenya Airways’ regular flights between Nairobi and Accra and the establishment of the Ghana Trade House. Both ministers expressed appreciation for collaborative efforts and stressed the importance of effectively implementing decisions to further enhance bilateral relations. The session symbolizes a renewed dedication to fostering mutual understanding, cooperation, and economic development between Ghana and Kenya.
