Ghanaian Dancers Afronita and Abigail Thrill Audiences on “Britain’s Got Talent”
Abigail and Afronita, a dynamic dancing duo from Ghana, mesmerized both the live audience and viewers at home with their stunning performance on “Britain’s Got Talent” on Thursday night.
Afronita, a 20-year-old dance instructor, and her seven-year-old protégé Abigail, delivered a high-energy Azonto dance routine to Sigala’s “Brighter Days,” which earned them the public’s vote and secured their place in the show’s final.
The performance at the Eventim Apollo was met with an uproarious response, so loud that the judges, Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and Bruno Tonioli, struggled to make themselves heard while giving their feedback.
Simon Cowell was particularly impressed, stating that the duo had made him reconsider his prediction for the show’s winner. He remarked, “When you’ve got it, you’ve got it,” noting the audience’s deafening applause as a sign of their exceptional talent.
