“Ghanaian Striker Antoine Semenyo Cites Asamoah Gyan and Andre Ayew as his Inspirations

Ghanaian striker Antoine Semenyo has expressed admiration for Asamoah Gyan and Andre Ayew, citing them as his inspirations.

Semenyo, who has been in outstanding form for Bournemouth this season with eight goals and two assists in the Premier League, hopes to replicate this success with the Ghana national team, the Black Stars, since naturalizing in 2022.

In an interview on Premier League TV, Semenyo shared how both Gyan and Ayew have influenced him. Ayew, currently playing with the Black Stars, regularly encourages Semenyo to keep striving and improving, noting Semenyo’s potential. Similarly, Gyan, Ghana’s all-time top scorer, advises him to seize his opportunities and consistently push his limits.
