The project is being carried out in association with Pencils of Promise, a US non-profit organisation well-known for building schools and improving access to education across the globe.Ja Rule gave a speech at the function and thanked Ghanaians for giving him the chance to support education.

He gave the audience the assurance that the construction of this school block signifies the start of his humanitarian endeavours in Ghana and his partnership with the nation.This is a few days after he declared that he will be visiting Ghana to fulfil his earlier promise to construct a school project there. Ja Rule disclosed his partnership with Pencils of Promise, a nonprofit organisation, by sharing a flier about the project.

Ja Rule and his spouse Aisha Atkins made their first trip to Accra’s Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park and Mausoleum upon their arrival in Ghana. The couple honoured the first president of Ghana. They also conveyed admiration for Nkrumah’s vision and dedication to the fight for Ghana’s independence. Additionally, they stopped in Krobo Odumase, where he had a meeting with a few local leaders.
