Ablakwa had accused the Blay family of attempting to unlawfully acquire land from the Labadi Beach Hotel, a state-owned asset in Accra. In a statement issued on Saturday, June 22, Spartan Ives Limited described the allegations as “false and baseless.” The company underscored its confidence that it would be cleared of these accusations, asserting that the claims were part of a broader effort to damage its reputation and divert attention from its successes.

Kwaw Blay emphasized that Spartan Ives Limited has no intentions of taking over the beachfront property of Labadi Beach Hotel, countering the allegations with a firm denial.

“We regret that Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa’s unsubstantiated claims, which have spread through social media and various news outlets, aim to discredit our business. We believe the truth will come to light, and our company will be vindicated from these baseless accusations,” Blay stated.

Spartan Ives Limited also called on the public and its stakeholders to remain skeptical of these accusations and to place their faith in the legal system. The company reaffirmed its dedication to delivering high-quality services and maintaining its principles of integrity and transparency.

“We urge everyone not to be misled by these unfounded allegations and to trust in the legal process. Spartan Ives Limited is committed to upholding our values of honesty, respect, and accountability,” the statement concluded.
