Lil Win Releases Song About May 25 Fatal Accident in Kumasi
Ghanaian movie actor Kwadwo Nkansah, widely known as Lil Win, has collaborated with Kweku Flick and King Paluta to release a song addressing the tragic May 25 accident in Kumasi.
The incident occurred near the Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) and resulted in the death of a 3-year-old boy named Nana Yaw, who was in a vehicle with his father when they were struck by Lil Win’s car.
Eyewitnesses reported that Lil Win was allegedly speeding in the congested area of Amakom. Following the collision, Nana Yaw and his father were immediately taken to a nearby health facility and later transferred to Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, where Nana Yaw passed away.
Lil Win was arrested by officers from the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) of the Manhyia Divisional Police Command ten days later, on June 3, shortly after being discharged from the hospital. His arrest followed heightened calls from the deceased’s family for justice. Initially, the police cited Lil Win’s health issues as the reason for the delay in his arrest.
