Kofi Baah Agyepong Resigns After Two Years as Youth Employment Agency CEO
Kofi Baah Agyepong, who served as CEO of the Youth Employment Agency for two years, turned in his resignation to President Mahama, describing his term in office as an opportunity to contribute to reducing youth unemployment in Ghana. He expressed appreciation for the time and the chance to implement key employment initiatives.
His resignation is part of a series of leadership changes in Ghana’s state-owned agencies following the recent December 7 elections. Other notable figures who have resigned include Akwasi Agyemang, former CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority; Sammi Awuku, ex-CEO of the National Lottery Authority; and Julie Essiam, who stepped down as Commissioner General of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA).
