More than 80 cars parked nearby suffered serious damage after a solar panel structure at the A&C Mall in East Legon, Accra, collapsed due to a strong downpour. In a formal statement, A&C Development, the firm in charge of the mall’s infrastructure, blamed the collapse on severe weather. They gave the public the assurance that quick action was being taken to evaluate the damage and provide assistance to those impacted.

“Our team, in collaboration with the relevant authorities, is actively working on-site to manage the situation and facilitate a swift resolution,” the statement read.
