Mercy Chinwo vs. EeZeeTee: Ex-Manager Slams ‘False’ Claims
Mercy Chinwo vs. EeZeeTee: Former Manager Denies Allegations, Accuses Gospel Singer of Falsehoods

The long-running conflict between well-known gospel singer Mercy Chinwo and her former record label, EeZee Conceptz, has taken a new turn as Ezekiel Onyedikachi, better known by his stage as EeZeeTee, the CEO of the business, denies her allegations.
Chinwo said in a recently circulated video that EeZeeTee had signed her to an exploitative contract and threatened to ruin her career while she was signed to the company. EeZeeTee said that he was disappointed by Chinwo’s accusations and described them as a deliberate attempt to damage both his and EeZee Conceptz’s reputations. He made it clear that no sincere disciple of God would use deceit and deception to try to ruin someone else.
“It’s heartbreaking to see someone, who claims to be a gospel artist, go to such lengths to ruin another person’s credibility. Mercy had vowed to ruin my name and that of my organization. If that’s her goal, then well done. I hope she finds satisfaction in this,” he said.
EeZeeTee continued by refuting the allegations of career sabotage, stating that it wouldn’t make sense to deny someone the chance to attend an event because the label has always supported its musicians. He maintained that every time its performers performed and received notoriety, the organisation profited.
“How would we deliberately sabotage our own investment? It makes no sense. When you’re out ministering and receiving blessings, we also share in those blessings. Destroying your own foundation in an attempt to damage another’s reputation is not wisdom,” he added.
He also urged people to examine the situation seriously and questioned the motivations behind Chinwo’s accusations. Will we continue to harbour animosity and bitterness in our hearts while seeming to serve God? If we profess to be peacemakers but attempt to ruin others, how does it speak to our faith? EeZeeTee responded to the claims that he attempted to influence Chinwo’s career by stating that their partnership was based on respect for one another and shared professional goals.. “No one can claim to have created another person. I never said I made her or that I could end her career. That’s not in my power,” he stated.
The dispute between Mercy Chinwo and EeZeeTee has drawn mixed reactions from fans and the gospel music community, with some supporting Chinwo while others question the timing and intent of her accusations. As tensions rise, many are hoping for reconciliation rather than further public confrontations.
