Ministry of Health to Recruit 15,200 Nurses

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has announced the recruitment of 15,200 nurses and midwives, with the process set to begin on Monday, August 5, 2024.

This initiative was confirmed by Alhaji Hafiz Adam, the Chief Director of the Ministry of Health, in a statement dated Friday, July 26, 2024.

Alhaji Adam emphasized that the recruitment process will be conducted transparently to ensure equal opportunities for all qualified applicants.

Prospective candidates are instructed to submit their applications through the Ministry of Health’s online portal. After logging in, applicants should select their preferred agency under the Ministry. The deadline for submitting applications is Friday, August 23, 2024, at 6 pm.

The MOH has also advised applicants to be wary of individuals who may offer assistance with the recruitment process in exchange for payment, cautioning that such offers are fraudulent.

The Ministry aims to handle the recruitment fairly and equitably, providing ample opportunity for all eligible individuals to apply and be considered for these positions. This recruitment drive is part of the Ministry’s efforts to strengthen the healthcare workforce in the country.
