Ministry of Health Launches Nationwide Recruitment for Medical Officers on May 16

The start of the nationwide hiring process for Medical Officers who have successfully finished their House Job and been approved by the Medical and Dental Council has been formally announced by the Ministry of Health (MoH). Those on the 34th and 35th verification lists are the focus of this most recent recruitment campaign, which provides them with the chance to work in a variety of healthcare facilities around the nation.

The Ministry states that on Friday, May 16, 2025, at precisely 6:00 p.m., the recruitment portal will open. It is recommended that qualified applicants apply online at https://hr.moh.gov.gh, the official MoH recruitment website. Applicants must choose their preferred Ministry of Health agency and carefully follow the guidelines provided during the application procedure.

The application must be submitted by 6:00 p.m. on Monday, May 26, 2025. This allows candidates ten days to fill up and turn in their paperwork. The Ministry has strongly cautioned candidates in an effort to uphold honesty and openness throughout the hiring process.

It highlighted that the procedure is fully free and merit-based, cautioning all prospective candidates to avoid making any type of payment to persons claiming to help recruitment. “Anyone who pays money does so at his or her own risk,” the Ministry stated, reiterating its commitment to a fair and corruption-free hiring process.

This hiring is a component of the government’s continuous attempts to improve the nation’s healthcare system by assigning skilled medical personnel to public health institutions and underprivileged communities. The Ministry wants to increase all Ghanaians’ access to high-quality healthcare by making sure that recognized graduates are integrated into the system.
