President Akufo-Addo Receives New Qatari Ambassador

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has officially welcomed Khalid bin Jabr Al Musallam, Qatar’s new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Ghana, marking a step forward in Ghana-Qatar diplomatic relations. The credential presentation ceremony was held at the Jubilee House in Accra.

During the formal event, Ambassador Al Musallam conveyed warm greetings from the Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, who extended his well wishes for President Akufo-Addo’s health, happiness, and for Ghana’s continued progress and prosperity.

President Akufo-Addo responded with similar sentiments, expressing his regards to the Amir and wishing for Qatar’s ongoing success and development.

In his address, President Akufo-Addo emphasized the friendly and cooperative relationship between Ghana and Qatar, underscoring Ghana’s commitment to enhancing bilateral ties. He highlighted the mutual benefits of a strong Ghana-Qatar relationship, particularly in areas of economic and diplomatic collaboration.

The introduction of Ambassador Al Musallam reinforces the growing connection between the two countries, which are keen to work together on a range of initiatives.
