The Concerned Drivers Association of Ghana, represented by David Agboado, has stated that the organisation has put a stop to the upcoming increase in transport fees that was revealed on Monday, March 4.

Transportation rates will increase by 30% starting on Thursday, March 7, according to a joint statement from the Transport Operators Union and the Concerned Drivers Association of Ghana.

But on Tuesday, March 5, Mr. Agboado said that the organisation had called its members to order in an interview with Alfred Ocansey, host of TV3’s Ghana Tonight programme.

According to Agboado, some three executives have been suspended in connection with the March 4 press release

He further stated that following the current discussions, a new directive about a suggested increment will be shared with all stakeholders by the following week.
