‘SaveGhanaFootball’ Protest Currently Ongoing in Accra

The “Save Ghana Football” protest, aimed at advocating for reforms in the governance of Ghana Football, has commenced in Accra. Demonstrators, comprising individuals from various backgrounds and spearheaded by sports journalists, initiated the event at Obra Spot within the Kwame Nkrumah Interchange.

The leaders of the demonstration, Saddick Adams, Veronica Commey, and Patrick Osei Agyemang, outlined the route of the protest, which includes passing through Asylum Down, the Greater Accra Regional Hospital, and culminating in presenting a petition at the headquarters of the Ghana Football Association. Subsequently, they plan to proceed to the Parliament of Ghana before concluding the demonstration at Independence Square.
