Quarshie emphasized that the park was designed with the aim of becoming the ultimate family entertainment hub in Ghana, blending thrilling rides and peaceful relaxation areas in a perfect balance.
Several international partners of the amusement park also participated in the event, sharing their enthusiasm for the project. Notable speakers included Peter van Bilsen, the International Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Vekoma Rides Manufacturing, a leading global manufacturer of amusement rides, and Mr. Luigi Puca, Trade Commissioner from the Italian Embassy. Their presence underscored the international collaboration behind the project, which aims to elevate Ghana’s tourism and leisure industry to new heights.
Local representation came from the La Traditional Council, which added a cultural touch to the event. The park officially opened its doors to the public on Saturday, September 14, 2024, with operating hours set for Tuesdays through Fridays from 2 pm to 7 pm, Saturdays from 10:30 am to 9 pm, and Sundays from 11 am to 7 pm.
