Three-Year-Old Dies in Car Crash Involving Actor Lil Win
A tragic car accident involving renowned Ghanaian actor Kwadwo Nkansah, known as Lil Win, has led to the death of a three-year-old boy named Nana Yaw.
The incident occurred in Amakom on Saturday when Lil Win’s car collided with a vehicle carrying Nana Yaw and his father.
Witnesses reported that Lil Win was speeding at the time of the crash. Following the accident, both Nana Yaw and his father, Jacob Kofi Ampomah, were immediately taken to a local health facility and later transferred to Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital. Sadly, Nana Yaw did not survive. Jacob Kofi Ampomah is currently receiving treatment for a leg fracture in the hospital’s Emergency Unit. The vehicle involved in the crash is now in police custody as the investigation continues.

The family of the deceased is calling for a thorough police investigation to ensure justice is served. They are also considering legal action and have expressed their frustration over the perceived lack of attention to the victims at the scene, where the focus was primarily on the actor.
Yaw Gyamfi, a relative of the deceased, revealed to Citi News that both eyewitnesses and police sources confirmed that Lil Win was driving at an excessive speed and veered off his lane. He emphasized the need for the law to take its course.
Lil Win, who also sustained injuries in the accident, was seen being assisted into another vehicle in a video. His branded Benz, which was involved in the accident, was heavily damaged. Another video showed a woman whose car was also hit, claiming that Lil Win was speeding and driving out of his lane.
Despite the accident, Lil Win attended the premiere of his movie “A Country Called Ghana” in Kumasi on Saturday night. The actor’s management team, present at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, declined to comment when approached by Citi News.
As the bereaved family prepares to bury their three-year-old child, they continue to seek justice for their loss.
