The grand finale of the prestigious Ghana’s Most Beautiful (GMB) 2024 beauty pageant was held on Sunday, October 6, at the National Theatre, where Titiaka, representing the Savannah Region, emerged as the winner. Her victory is particularly significant as she becomes the first hijab-wearing contestant to win the coveted title, marking a historic moment in the competition’s history.
Titiaka’s success, achieved through dedication and perseverance, has inspired many young girls across the country, especially within the Muslim community. Additionally, her win is a first for the Savannah Region, further highlighting the region’s cultural representation and diversity in the national competition.
As the 2024 Ghana’s Most Beautiful Queen, Titiaka was awarded several prizes, including a cash prize of GHC15,000, a brand-new car, a trip abroad courtesy of Global Winds Travel and Tour, a TECNO Phantom B2 smartphone, and various hampers from sponsors. Ashanti Region’s Afriyie was named the 1st Runner-Up and received a GHC10,000 cash prize, a trip abroad, a TECNO Camon 30S smartphone, and additional gifts from sponsors. The Volta Region’s Makafui took the 2nd Runner-Up spot, earning GHC8,000, a trip abroad, a TECNO Camon 30S, GHC700 worth of AirtelTigo airtime, and other rewards from the pageant’s sponsors.
Titiaka’s historic win not only showcases her personal achievements but also celebrates the diverse beauty and culture of Ghana.
